"The River" by Kelliy McCrea Sage leaped through the water. He grinned widely…. “The water splashed wildly under my hooves. It was gentle and warm, the sun beaming down on me and the water. As I became a Gypsy Vanner for the first time, it was so wonderful. My antlers disappeared, my single horn remaining. My already long tail became covered in smooth, long brown hair. My main went from spike to silky, coating the left side of my neck and my forehead. My smooth body became thick with warm fur and my hooves now had long fur sliding over them. I whinnied and lunged forward in the water. It splashed up higher, setting droplets throughout the river and I ran along it. My hooves would exit the water then splash back down. Waves of water would splash up onto my hindquarters and belly.” It was bliss.
